This tea is carefully hand-picked as one leaf and a bud in the early spring. Picked early in the morning, the tea is kept for the rest of the day and overnight in the cool spring air for over 18 hours. This allows the leaves to breathe out all the excess moisture from the leaf while it undergoes the mildest form of natural oxidation. The minute you raise the cup to your mouth, you sense the smell of the gentle spring rain strengthening the scents of flowers and fresh grass.
